Since its inception in 1967 Indespension has sustained an impressive rate of growth and now has 19 wholly owned Stores throughout the UK and Ireland.

Such has been the demand for Indespension products that in 2001, Indespension moved to bigger and better premises in Bolton and in 2003 opened an additional manufacturing facility with the sole purpose of producing trailers.
Indespension first started life as ‘Mechanical Services’, manufacturing trailer components for DIY enthusiasts wishing to build their own trailers. Continual development led to the production of the patented Indespension Suspension Unit, a safe and efficient alternative to leaf springs, hence the name change to Indespension Ltd.
Since 1967 Indespension have manufactured over 2 million ‘Indespension’ units!
During the 1980’s as demand for quality Indespension products increased, Indespension started to manufacture its own range of trailers, starting with a range of general utility trailers under the brand name of Gracecourt.
Such was the demand for these trailers that Indespension expanded its range to encompass Goods trailers, Plant trailers, Flatbed trailers, Tipper trailers, Transporters trailers, Utility trailers, Box-van trailers, Motor-cycle trailers and Marine trailers. There are now thousands of parts within the range of Indespension products, which includes everything from lights, jockey wheels, and couplings, to axles, cycle carriers, roof boxes and wheel clamps – everything you will need for your trailer and more!
Whilst the market has changed enormously over the years, Indespension has remained loyal to its core values, offering customers outstanding quality, product innovation and value for money. Indespension remains family run although a new generation has taken over the responsibility of continuing the company’s growth.
